I'm agree that it's a variant of such play: if your have nothing to say, just push buttons to play!
As for me, it can destroy some minds but give nothing for discussion.

Sometimes I feel pity for not visiting Berni
THey tried to apply Reputation on Materinstvo forum where I'm frequent. It was something as Lapsa mentioned. The only way is to make voting anonymous, but what's the sense?
All those additional features (statuses of users for example) make the forum too complicated. IMHO.

nope.
Many pics under username look stupid (sorry ). A medal for breastfeeding, one for crafting, another for contest, a couple just for the sake of company. No, don't like the idea.
As if one is not enough, but many of them look terrible

here I can agree with Skazka - many userpics for one user aren't convenient - cannot recognize by picture who's this person.

KROLJIX, we don't speak about userpics, but about medals or statuses of each user. For example, now we have Слингомама, Креатив мама, Опытная мама, СЛингоконсультант...Imagine each status has a small picture, each user can have several statuses applied and those pictures are shown somewhere around his username. It used to be so on 7ya.lv - and there I did not like it absolutely, 'cause it looks like hell. OK if a person has only one status, but what about Murr for example, how many pics shall she have? Nonsense. Looks like moms have nothing to do just to award themselves with medals.

I subscribed for a newsletter from one of recommended english-learning web-sites and what did I receive today - it is brilliant I think!

The only problem is that words are very simple - no one unknown for me. Though good opportunity to repeat verbs in past: fell, sent etc

And here I'm really afraid of the traffic police. Being on a foreign plates, not able to speak normal Spanish - it's a challenge. Thus I prefer to avoid them And not to exceed limits

I was without makeup , I think, I looked terible, but all finished lucky to me

But it was one negative incendent at disco with him in university, and I didn't see him after that

Does it really help to start explaining something to the traffic police? Really?

I've been caught only once in Riga, driving some 95 instead of 70 allowed. The police had been driving in the opposite direction, noticed me then suddenly turned on the lights and sound, made the turn around, told something in the speaker (and my music is on, loud, I hear nothing) and stopped me. I didn't even try to explain, just agreed I was speeding. So I've got my first fine and 2 points. This was my first meeting with the road police
From that time I try not to listen to "Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me, Kill me" in a car The song that literally makes me accelerate

By the way, how many fines have you had? I've had 2 during my 1.5 years of driving The one I've mentioned above. And the second was very stupid - for parking in forbidden place.

I've had second Czech today, so I have kinda a mixture of different languages in my head

LoR is pleasure to read, but PetShop Boys is so pleasure to listen because of just perfect English pronounce. Strictly recommend to all English students


What, by the way, is your most recommended way to learn new (like - ABSOLUTELY new) language? I can't remember how did I started English or Latvian... I know how to push l;anguage forward - you just need to live in native-speaking society... but how to start from the beginning with maximum success?

On top of normal classes, speak to yourself in it all the time in yoru head. Even if you know just a few phrases. just repeating repeating them non-stop. Works for me. Makes me feel confident about the new language.
