Arknights: Endfield is easy to misread in the first hour. You see the squad fights, the big abilities, the danger zones, and it feels like combat will carry the whole thing. It won't. Pretty soon, you'll notice that your base work matters just as much as your best damage dealer. The Automated Industry Complex is where your run either starts to breathe or starts to choke. Players who pick up Arknights endfield accounts often find that progression feels smoother when the factory side isn't treated like background decoration, because the AIC is constantly feeding your upgrades, crafting materials, and long-term power.

The factory is where mistakes pile up
The AIC isn't there just to look clever. It's a working chain, and every weak link shows up later. Maybe one machine is waiting on ore. Maybe a belt is jammed because you placed storage in a bad spot. Maybe your power setup can't handle the extra production line you just added. None of that feels dramatic at first. Then you try to craft a key weapon part and realise the factory has produced almost nothing useful overnight. That's the pain point. Good layouts don't need to be pretty, but they do need to move resources cleanly. Start with simple loops. Keep inputs close. Leave room to expand. You'll thank yourself later when one new recipe doesn't force you to tear down half the base.

Teams need more than star ratings
Combat has its own trap as well. A lot of players build around rarity and then wonder why fights feel clumsy. Strong units matter, sure, but Endfield rewards teams that actually work together. You want someone who can deal steady damage, someone who opens windows with control or elemental setup, and someone who keeps the group alive without killing your pace. The best teams feel quick. One operator applies pressure, another triggers a reaction, and the support keeps the rotation from falling apart. Healers and shielders aren't just safety nets either. Some of them help with buffs, energy, or uptime, which means they can raise your damage without swinging the biggest weapon on screen.

Progress comes from both sides
The clever bit is how the game ties these systems together. Your squad needs better equipment, and that gear comes from the industry network you've built. Your factory needs rarer materials, and those materials are usually locked behind harder areas that demand a stronger squad. Ignore one side and the other starts to stall. That's why Endfield feels less like a straight RPG grind and more like managing a live project. You go out, clear a zone, bring back resources, adjust production, then push further. It's a loop, but not a dull one. When the numbers line up and your team suddenly handles a fight that used to crush you, it feels earned.

Building smarter for the long run
If you're planning to stick with Arknights: Endfield, don't rush every upgrade just because it's available. Watch what your factory is short on. Check which materials your main squad really needs. Trim dead production lines instead of hoarding random parts. Some players also use trusted marketplaces such as U4gm when they're looking for game-related services, currency, or items, but the real value still comes from understanding how your account is built. A clean AIC and a balanced team will carry you much further than one overleveled character or a messy base full of idle machines.
